Why Choose VMware Workstation?

Why Choose VMware Workstation?
From the creator of PC virtualization comes the most reliable, secure way to run multiple operating systems at the same time.
Winner of more than 50 industry awards, VMware Workstation transforms the way technical professionals develop, test, demo,
and deploy software. VMware Workstation is an integral component of any serious technical professional’s toolkit.

Get Maximum Performance for Windows 7
VMware Workstation 7 is optimized for maximum performance when running on 32-bit and 64-bit Windows 7 PCs. Supports Flip 3D
and Aero Peek to show live thumbnails of your virtual machines. Run legacy application with 3D graphics, faster performance,
and tighter desktop integration better than Windows XP Mode. Get shared folders and drag and drop convenience.

Gain an Indispensable Tool
Automate and streamline tasks to save time and improve productivity. Run applications in Linux, Windows, and more at the same
time on the same PC with no rebooting. Evaluate and test new operating systems, applications and patches in an isolated environment.
Demonstrate complex software applications on a single laptop in a repeatable, reliable manner. Rich integration with Visual Studio,
Eclipse, and the SpringSource Tool Suite make it incredibly easy to debug applications on multiple platforms.

Run Your Most Demanding Applications on the Most Advanced Virtualization Platform
Create virtual machines with up to 8 virtual processors or 8 virtual cores, 2 TB virtual disks and up to 32 GB of memory per
virtual machine to run the most demanding applications. Protect your virtual machines from prying eyes with 256-bit AES encryption
and smart card authentication.

Award-winning
Backed by over a decade of proven engineering, VMware Workstation is trusted by millions of users worldwide. The company has won
more than 200 awards for its industry-leading software, with over 50 awards for VMware Workstation. In addition to winning
InfoWorld’s 2009 “Best Desktop Virtualization Tool,” Visual Studio Magazine Reader’s Choice for “Best Software Development
Product” awards, VMware Workstation has been inducted into the Jolt Hall of Fame.

More Reasons at a Glance

Seamlessly Integrated
Unity mode integrates applications from within your Windows & Linux virtual machines and makes them appear like they are running
on your native desktop. User friendly features such as the ability to cut and paste pictures, drag and drop email attachments,
and driver-less printing make it easy to work in a virtual machine.

Snapshots and Clones: The Ultimate Time Saver
Snapshots preserve the state of a virtual machine so you can return to it at any time. Snapshots are useful when you need to revert
your virtual machine to a prior, stable system state. Workstation makes it easy to find and revert to a previously saved snapshot.

Installing operating systems and applications can be time consuming. With clones, you can make many copies of a virtual machine
from the baseline installation and configuration. This makes it fast and simple to maintain standardized computing environments
for employees and students, or to create a baseline configuration for testing.

Run Multi-tiered Applications on a Single PC
Manage multiple, network-connected virtual machines with Teams. Teams make it easy to start and run complex multi-tier enterprise
applications on a single PC with just a click of the mouse.

Rewind and Replay Until You Find the Bug
Diagnose non-deterministic bugs with the Replay Debugging technology integrated into Visual Studio and Eclipse. Test your applications
in a virtual machine while “recording” and then let the developer step through the recording with a debugger attached. Never again will
there be a non-reproducible bug.

Good Day

Please accept my most sincere apologize for being late previous
Month.I realize how value my work with us as an employee, and I hope can continue procuring your services on mutually-beneficial terms.

With city congestion and the difficulties of transportation and heavy traffic, occasional lateness is indeed reasonable to expect. Understanding student loan types

Understanding student loan types

Overview

A college education may be the most important investment in a child's life and has become one of the most costly, too. The publicly reported tuition charged by private colleges and universities for can reach $50,000 or more a year. The trends are alarming, too. And while tuition at public universities is generally lower, costs there have been growing even more steeply in recent years as government support has lagged.

Understanding student loan types

Federal student loans

Federal student loans are the largest source of education loans. You and your family can get these loans through private financial institutions such as Sallie Mae.

Federal student loans have more favorable terms than private loans. These loans are guaranteed by the government, and the government sets their low interest rate. Nearly all students are eligible to receive federal student loan money (regardless of credit score or other financial issues), and federal student loans feature a grace period after school when no payments are due.

Private student loans

After you've pursued free money and federal loans, a private student loan may be available to cover the rest of your education costs.

Depending on the lender, private student loan (alternative student loan) terms can vary considerably based on your credit history. Sallie Mae offers the following private student loan

Loans for international students

International student loans provide financial solutions for the growing population of students pursuing college and university degrees outside their home country.

Insurance policy and No win no fee

Overview

In insurance, the insurance policy is a contract (generally a standard form contract) between the insurer and the insured, known as the policyholder, which determines the claims which the insurer is legally required to pay. In exchange for payment, known as the premium, the insurer pays for damages to the insured which are caused by covered perils under the policy language. Insurance contracts are designed to meet specific needs and thus have many features not found in many other types of contracts. Since insurance policies are standard forms, they feature boilerplate language which is similar across a wide variety of different types of insurance policies.

This is Insurance policy and law

* Insurance policy
* Insurance law
* Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act

Types of insurance

Health
Accidental death and dismemberment insurance · Dental insurance · Disability insurance · Total permanent disability insurance · Income protection insurance · Long term care insurance · Vision insurance

Life
Permanent life insurance · Term life insurance · Universal life insurance · Variable universal life insurance · Whole life insurance

Business
Bond insurance · Errors and omissions insurance · Fidelity bond · Professional indemnity insurance · Professional liability insurance · Protection and indemnity insurance

Residential
Contents insurance · Earthquake insurance · Flood insurance · Home insurance · Landlords insurance · Mortgage insurance · Property insurance

Other
Casualty insurance · Crime insurance · Crop insurance · Group insurance · Liability insurance · Marine insurance · No-fault insurance · Pet insurance · Phone insurance · Reinsurance · Terrorism insurance · Vehicle insurance · Wage insurance · Weather insurance · Workers' compensation

"No Win No Fee"
The Conditional Fee Agreement (CFA) between a law firm and their client. In any claim (Commercial or Personal Innjury), this is an agreement between the client and their lawyer, which will enable the lawyer to take on a case on the understanding that if they lose the case, the client will not have to pay their lawyer’s costs, but will still be responsible for the defendants costs if the case is lost.

Legal Expenses Insurance

This can also be referred to as before the event insurance (BTE), and is insurance that the client may already hold as part of Household contents or Car Insurance, either free or for a small fee. Some credit cards also include BTE insurance and it can also be taken out as a separate insurance policy. BTE insurance may pay for the legal costs when making a claim for compensation, whether the client wins or loses. Your solicitor will be able to identify if a client holds this type of policy and complete the necessary claim form. The 2008 report from the Ministry Of Justice found that in 2007, 48% of those who took part had BTE Insurance incorporated into their car insurance, 35% had BTE Insurance as part of their Home insurance policy and a further 17% had the insurance as part of their Travel Insurance. This insurance covers any legal expenses in addition to costs for pursuing a personal injury claim and cost for legal expenses from the other side if the client's claim in unsuccessful.

Legal Aid

Legal Aid is financial assistance which is funded by the Government. Legal Aid is not usually awarded in cases of personal injury unless under extreme circumstances. Legal aid is still available for Clinical Negligence cases.

Paying for own Legal costs

Due to the assistance that is available through insurance policies it is rare that an individual will fund their own personal injury claim although it is possible. As with all Legal fees if the client's claim is successful they will be in a position to claim back the cost of their expenses from the other side. If their claim is unsuccessful they will lose the money that they have paid out.

Set-Up IIS Vista and Windows 7

Posted by Gregfox on 2/10/10 , under | comments (0)

Before You Begin

Ensure that you have installed one of the editions of Windows Vista or Windows 7 on which IIS 7 is supported before you proceed. Not all IIS features are supported on all editions of Windows Vista and Windows 7. Home Basic and Starter editions include only limited basic features of IIS. To see a list of which features are supported on the edition of Windows you are using, see one of the following:

* Available Role Services in IIS 7.0 (Windows Vista)

* Available Web Server (IIS) Role Services in IIS 7.5 (Windows 7)

Also be sure that you have administrative user rights on the computer. By default, you do not have administrative privileges if you are logged on as a user other than the built-in administrator, even if you were added to the local Administrators group on the computer (this is a new security feature in Windows Server® 2008 called Local User Administrator). Log on either to the built-in administrator account, or explicitly invoke applications as the built-in administrator using the runas command-line tool.

Note that you can run runas /user:administrator cmd.exe so that every application you run from that command line will be elevated, eliminating the need to use the runas syntax from that command line.

If you are logged on to an account other than the built-in local administrator account, you may see the following security alert dialog box.

iPhone 4G Rumors Heat Up

t's been less than a year since the iPhone 3GS launched, and the rumor mill is already churning out speculation about an upcoming iPhone 4G, expected as early as May.

A concept image of the rumored iPhone 4G, courtesy of iPhoneRoot.com.

New rumors have been circulating over the past couple of days, saying a new Apple iPhone 4G will be available by June, or even as early as May. Besides the earlier-than-expected launch date (new iPhone models traditionally come out in June or July), potential new features are in discussion as well, such as a better camera, an OLED screen, a removable battery, and different casing.

A Bloomberg/BusinessWeek report quotes an analyst from the Goldman Sachs Group saying the iPhone 4G would have a better camera than the 3-megapixel shooter found on the iPhone 3GS. The iPhone 4G's camera could offer up to 5 megapixels, which would put it on the par with the camera in Google's Nexus One.
The story also speculates that Apple is working on an updated version of the iPhone OS with an overhauled App Store. The analyst in the Bloomberg story did not identify who gave him the information, but speculates the iPhone 4G will go into production as early as April, with availability expected sometime in June or July.

Derailing from the usual July/July launch timeframe though, is a report originating from a French Web site, which claims we are likely to see the next generation iPhone in May. The report says Apple targeted May because it thought that's when Google would release their Nexus One Android smartphone. Actually, the Nexus One was unveiled earlier this month. Is it like that Apple would move up the release of a new iPhone to compete with Google? Maybe. But it doesn't seem likely that Apple would misjudge Google's launch date by several months.
Also this week, a report from Korea Times quoted unnamed mobile executives claiming the iPhone 4G will have an OLED screen and support for video chat. Most surprisingly, it claimed that the upcoming iPhone would feature a removable battery -- though the chances of this happening are slight (Apple refused to use removable batteries in all three generations of iPhones and its latest laptops also sport non-removable batteries).
All in all, some of these rumors are plausible, such as the OLED screen and a better camera, though earlier launch dates as soon as May might seem a bit far-fetched, as Apple usually refreshes products in a yearly cycle.

Taligsik Band

They are not musicians, neither artists nor performers. Inday Tanini, Idol Dagol, Mario Penduko and Big Joe are nothing but ordinary DJs quintessentially equipped with outstanding knack in cracking fun out of anything at anytime, anywhere. Their jokes come out naturally and effortlessly that instantly sends many to outrageous laughters.

Gathering after board work has been a practice where jokes are favourite appetizer. In one of those times, while exchanging punch lines, their playful minds accidentally brought them to singing popular tunes while replacing them with their own hilarious lyrics. Unintentionally, Taligsik Band was formed, a phenomenon that hit Davao by stormBudot-budot.

Tanini Wonder products (a product of imagination that brings users great disaster) have become an inspiration of the group from where they derived their original composition, the Tanini Jingle. This was followed by Pamati, Iro kong Itom and their spoofs Pusoy si Lolo (Low), Gabriella (Umbrella) and Butikmol Girl (Beautiful Girl).

Right now, requests for Taligsik Band songs are causing traffic in the hot lines and floods in text line of MOR 101.1 Davao. Because of its huge impact to the masses, invitations for city and provincial shows as well as products endorsements are now also eventually coming.

The Dotnet Nuke blog is a collection of related modules which comprise of all the working parts of a blog. When the blog module is added to a page, all module are added

Blog Module

Weblog (aka "blog") is arguably one of the most popular categories of applications on the Internet today.  Naturally, this makes a Blog module a very important part of the DotNetNuke family of free BSD modules.  The DotNetNuke® Blog is actually a collection of related modules which comprise all the working parts of a Blog.  When you add the blog module to a page,  you actually add all of them (which you can choose to delete or move).  These presently include:
  • Menu: List of blog related actions that a user can take, based on permissions (e.g. changing settings, adding a post, etc).
  • Search: Utility for searching Blog content.
  • Roll: List of blogs on the site (or in some logical grouping)
  • Archive: Calendar indicating dates when blogs have been posted
  • Posts: Display of the lists and content of the blogs.
This blog module was contributed to DotNetNuke (and thus to you) by Hans-Peter Schelian, who based his work on a blog module originally developed by Matt Fraser for version 1.x.

You are in the process of setting up module and you do not want anyone to see it until you have completed it.

There are really four (4) different ways to think about giving access to Modules on your website.  Who would you like to be able to see each module?
(1) Administrators:  Only users who have the authority to "administer" your website can see these modules (so that means you)!  This is a good setting to use for modules that you are in the process of setting up but don't want anyone to see until you are finished.  You can use the Page Editors Only option of the Visibility selector when you add new modules to keep them private until you are ready.

When a Module is only visible to website Administrators a red border is applied to alert you of this.  That way you won't forget that nobody can see them except you!

(2) Unauthenticated Users:  All visitors can view your Module anonymously.  "Unauthenticated" means that the user has not logged in and may not even be registered as a user of your website.  Think of this as "public" access... things that you want everyone to be able to see.
(3) Registered Users:  Users that have filled out a Registration form on your website and now have a User Name and Password and have already logged in.
(4) Custom Group of Users:  These are Registered Users that you have also placed into a special group or "Role" that you have created (e.g. "Family" or "Customers").  For more information on custom groups you'll want to read the tutorial: Manage Users.

What is the first step in good programming?

Posted by Gregfox on 11/18/09 , under | comments (0)

The first step in good programming is to understand fully what the

program is supposed to do and the relationship between the inputs and the outputs.

The second step is to break down the process into its smallest component. This is

called modularity. A flowchart is very useful here. It is because of modularity

that you can use "libraries" of functions so that you don't have to reinvent the

wheel every time you program something.

The third step, implementation, is where you put together all the modules

according to the flowchart you designed.

What is the mark of good programming?

Actually, the first and most important rule of writing good code is to comment your code....In a past few days or months, you may need to go back and rewrite something. You need to be able to look at the code and know what it is doing. The most effective way of doing this is to comment your code as you write it.

Equally important, don't just start writing code. Sit down and write out a statement as to what you want your code to do before you ever start. That will help you stay focused on what it is you are trying to achieve.
